The Toyota Tsusho Group includes detergent manufacturing companies
and we have handled their raw materials since we first began development
of synthetic detergents. We are importing high-performance surfactants
used in hair care products (shampoo, rinse, conditioner) and body
care products (body shampoo), and fatty acids and soap chips used
in soap and body shampoo, from our overseas supplier in Malaysia,
Natural Oleo Chemicals Sdn Bhd, for domestic sale.
Our handling of imported fatty acids has led to an increase
in both the number of clients of this department and the types
of industries with which we do business.
Our business with some of these clients in new industries
led to our development of new applications such as rubber, tires,
metal soap, surfactants, oils and fats products, and cosmetics.
Going forward, we will deepen our cooperation with the overseas
centers of the Toyota Tsusho Group, work with our manufacturing
and sales partners in the Japan and the Asian zone at all stages
of the process from raw materials through to consumer products,
and assist our affiliates, etc., with development and distribution.

- Raw materials for use in cosmetics (plant extracts, fatty acid ester, cetyl alcohol/stearyl alcohol, etc.)
- Export/import agency business for items handled by this department (cost savings generated by the capabilities of the Toyota Tsusho Group)
