CSR as envisioned by the Toyota Tsusho Group
For the Toyota Tsusho Group, CSR does not mean implementing a number of specific approaches. Rather, we believe that CSR should be at the very forefront of the way we do business, in our corporate activities and in our management practices. Based on the corporate philosophy of "Living and prospering together with people, society, and the globe, we aim to be a value-generating corporation that contributes to creation of a prosperous society," Tomen Chemical strives to engage in corporate activities that are open and fair. In addition, in our efforts to act responsibly and conserve the global environment and also as we work to bring about creativity, a fundamental management policy is to "provide added value." The aim of this policy is to ensure satisfaction for all of our stakeholders, including customers, shareholders, employees and local communities alike.
